Today, there is much controversy over meat and vegetarian/vegan diets. And both sides have very seemingly real reasons to defend their particular choice. Both sides give their reasons (real or otherwise) and advice on how to achieve a healthy diet.

The Carnivore
.
Meat eaters will defend their stand, For them, meat is necessary for the diet of humans because there are certain essential nutrients which can only be obtained by eating meat, like vitamin B12.
.
According to these carnivores, homo sapiens were made to eat meat for sustenance. They point out that the digestive system of the human being is designed for meat ingestion and not for vegetable cellulose or fibre.

To further emphasis their defense, they tell you that one only has to look at vegans, the majority of whom abandon veganism some time later because of debilitating weakness, depression, sometimes suicidal tendencies, and general ill health.
.
They also present experiments made on vegetables and fruits using scientific devices. The results exhibit stress and panic reactions on the part of the same veggies and fruits when they are about to be eaten!

Just because one can’t see the gory and bloody scenes of animal slaughter doesn’t mean our vegetarian friends, the vegetables and fruits, do not suffer.

To top it all, they point out that His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, himself does actually eat meat, even if a limited amount.

Do The Touted Benefits of A Vegetarian Diet Really Hold True?
The Vegetarian

Vegetarians will tell you that they omit meat and its by-products to save animals their suffering when these are slaughtered for food.

Many of these people do this mostly for religious and spiritual reasons.

Then, there are those vegetarians who abstain from eating meat to save animals their suffering AND for the welfare of the environment.

The Vegan
.
A step further from the vegetarian is the vegan. The vegan pushes deeper by not only abstaining from meat, but also from all food products which may cause suffering to animals, like honey, butter and eggs.

To stretch their commitment further, they also refuse to use products (including woolen clothing and leather shoes, personal care items and more) made from any animal part.

Both vegetarians and vegans, after their specific inclination, will also defend their choices for health reasons, saying that a meatless diet is, by far, healthier. Additionally, they defend that this type of diet is preventive against degenerative diseases like cancer and cardiovascular problems.

Contrast this with the French people, who cook with butter and goose fat, and eat a high cholesterol diet. They have a very surprisingly low incidence of death from strokes and heart attacks.

What actually is the reality? Meat or no meat? Don’t rely on opinion. Look at hard facts.

Cholesterol is crucial for your health. The vital hormones of the body are made from cholesterol: estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

At the end of the day, however, it is still a scientific fact that we need cholesterol for optimal health. Our human bodies were made this way.

Choose Your Foods Based on Hard Facts and Experience, not on Opinion

The one big food choice we can all make in our quest for good health, is not to point an accusing finger at a carnivorous, or a vegetarian or a vegan diet.

Spiritual and religious reasons are very important and must be respected.

However, our physical requirements MUST also be respected and not be traded in because of opinion. The only person who will suffer is only us ourselves.
.
If you had a Rolls Royce, you would fill her up with the best premium fuel. You wouldn’t put in cheap diesel, and then wonder why she sputters and breaks down. Same for us human beings.

Your First Duty to Yourself: Say Goodbye to ALL Adulterated, Processed Foods…

Degenerative disease in the affluent world is epidemic. We wonder why we are ill with rampant degenerative diseases that scientists and doctors don’t seem to be able to find a solution to.

Omit all foods that our bodies cannot recognise and were NOT designed to ingest.

Do away with cheaper options of foods such as vegetarian replacements of real milk, or dead, bleached products like white bread, or refined-to-death and deodorised vegetable oils, or sugary soda/soft drinks.

Choose Only REAL Food
.
Instead, think about cooking delicious food from REAL ingredients like fresh vegetables and meat. Choose according to your particular spiritual/social following in life.

It does not matter what you choose, BUT choose real food. Because your body was made to ingest REAL food.
.
This would be your very first step in feeding your body nutritionally what is really needs. Don’t choose not based on opinion.

Then Only Make Your Choice: Vegan or Vegetarian or Carnivore
From there, you can then decide, based on hard core facts and real-life experience, whether a vegan, or a vegetarian or a carnivorous diet is the proper choice for you.
