Weight Loss Short Cuts ~ NOT to Follow
Fast, Brutal And Not That Great
Weight loss shortcuts do not really work. Do not be taken in.
.
Yes, we all know far we would go to get something you wanted. Yes, we all have goals in life. What often separates us is how far we will go to achieve them. In many ways, this is what the modern diet industry is built on.
.
Many people will go a long, long way to lose weight. This is where they will consider short cut diets. There is a trade-off involved in losing weight. You need to forego things you would like to eat because unhealthy food is a big part of the problem.
.
You also need to exercise. There is a balance to be achieved here. The more you exercise, the more calories you burn. Doing so, there is more wriggle room you have on food. However, your body can only take so much exercise, so it’s not cut and dried.
.
At the same time, you need to eat something. You can’t forego exercise and promise that you’ll eat virtually no calories.
.
The way to lose weight and be healthy is to eat plenty of vegetables, drink water and limit high-calorie foods. A weight loss supplement can also help considerably.
.
Some people feel that there has to be weight loss shortcuts. However, there aren’t any. Short-term solutions bring short-term results. You may lose weight fast, but you are the loser in terms of your health.
.
We read about weight loss miracles, but the reality of them is a lot less pleasant than the term suggests.

Weight Loss Short Cuts Not to Follow! Diet #1
The Cabbage Soup Diet
As the name may suggest, this is not a diet that lures you in with big talk about delicious foods.
.
The cabbage soup diet is not intended to be a long-term diet. It does allow you to eat almost unlimited amounts of certain foods.
.
In theory, the cabbage soup is there to quiet your hunger. It’s an appetite suppressant. As you progress into the diet, you are allowed to eat a larger range of foods.
.
You may be led into thinking that there is enormous benefit in just eating cabbage soup. In truth, if you only want to lose weight, you will.
.
However, there are side effects: your concentration suffers, you feel bloated and, famously, you get terrible gas. It’s just not a good idea unless you have a tight window of time to lose the extra weight and can avoid people for a week!

Weight Loss Short Cuts Not to Follow! Diet #2
The Maple Syrup Diet
Famously, Beyonce Knowles took to the maple syrup diet to slim down for her part in the movie Dreamgirls.
.
It worked. Word got out. For a while the maple syrup diet was the hottest diet plan in town.
.
It involved eating next to nothing, allowing a total of just 600 calories a day.
.
All you can ingest on the diet is the following concoction:
.
It involved lemon juice (a stool softener), cayenne pepper (to speed metabolism) and maple syrup. The syrup is there to make the first two palatable.
.
The people on the diet had problems of boredom, headaches and were very irritable. People have reported fainting and feeling light-headed.
.
Now, maybe Beyonce had a laser focus on doing that film. But the fact is that even after a short while, lowering calories to 600 degrees slows the metabolism. This puts the body into starvation mode, preventing the burning of calories.
.
In short, if you have a small amount of weight to lose, it might be worth the pain. For the most part, it isn’t.
If you want to live a healthy and happy life and look good while doing it, then there is no short cut. It’s a long-term issue and needs a long-term solution. If your idea of a healthy life is fainting and passing gas, then you can try the above diets. Just don’t say you weren’t warned.
