Weight Loss With Exercise
Losing weight via additional exercise makes weight loss fun!
So why should you embrace weight loss with exercise ? Everyone knows there are two ways for healthy adults to lose weight (dietary changes or increased exercise). Hey, who doesn’t need to lose a few pounds these days?
.
It doesn’t matter if you live in the northern hemisphere where it’s summertime, or if you’re about to begin your annual winter vacation if you live ‘down under’. You’ll want to look and feel better.
.
You may wish to add an exercise routine to a modified diet to transform your body into a lean muscle masterpiece.
.
Oh yes, this is much more than a diet. This is you taking complete ownership of your body! Woot!
.
(Note: Before beginning any new exercise routine, check with your Doctor or Naturopath)
.
No matter how hard you work out in the gym or on the track, beer, french fries and other high-calorie / low-nutrient foods will always be the dieter’s and the bodybuilder’s worst enemy. Give those up, and you’re already halfway to your weight loss goals!
.
While you’re at it, you can lower your intake of other fatty foods like pastries, peanuts, and any kind of processed foods.
.
If you eat yogurt, eat larger portions and still be far ahead of the game.
.
IMPORTANT: One hour before you begin any exercise routine, begin drinking plenty of water. Continue to drink as much water as you can comfortably consume during your workout and up to one hour afterwards.
.
The debate still rages: is swimming or walking the better exercise from a weight loss perspective?
.
.
However, just remember to keep a good pace: just enough to get you breathing deep breaths, but not to the point of being uncomfortable.
.
.
You might consider adding some tennis or badminton, or other sports to your routine to keep it fresh.
.
If you have an exercise partner, you’ll be more likely to keep to your exercise routine compared to ‘going it alone’. Soteam-up with a friend and enjoy!
.
While exercising can increase your appetite (especially during the first two-weeks), eventually your body will lose the craving for high-calorie / low nutrient foods. You’ll find yourself preferring low-calorie / high nutrient foods.
.
Don’t walk around feeling hungry, that’s no fun! Rather, eat all the vegetables and fruit you want!
.
.
Reduce your consumption of soda and processed foods. Increase your intake of healthy fats and protein.
.
These steps will work wonders for you in addition to the benefits of your exercise programme.
.
If you just want to lose just a few pounds, a two-week diet is your way to go.
.
If you want to keep those pounds off permanently, you need to add an exercise routine, one that captivates you. That way you’ll be more likely to continue and succeed.
.
Remember to eat real food as designed by nature. And by adding a weekly exercise routine, you’ll be taking ownership of your health in a very profound way.
.
So, following these tips on weight loss with exercise, you’ll feel better, look better and perform better — and your body will thank you!
